Visiting Ancillary Services Denver Colorado is an accredited 501(c)3 charity providing dental services to the needy elderly residing in nursing homes. Visiting Ancillary Services Denver Colorado brings all our equipment right into the nursing home to best serve our patients. Nursing Homes and Assisted Living facilities contract with Visiting Ancillary Services Inc (VAS) to provide the best dental care available. In most cases there is no direct cost to eligible patients for Medicaid, PETI, or OPTUM (EverCare)and will accept private-pay patients at the same payment rate as Medicaid PETI saving hem 60% over usual and customary charges. We will also treat your employees and families by appointment at our office or on-site at your facility.

About Us

Visiting Ancillary Services, which opened in December 2010, provides dental care services to the residents of nursing homes and care facilities in and around Denver, Colorado. A fully accredited nonprofit, the organization works with contracted dentists and trained hygienists to make facility visits that enable residents to receive care in the comfort and convenience of their rooms. Care is provided with a focus on superior service, consistent quality, and an attitude of compassion from all dental care team members. Furthermore, Visiting Ancillary Services utilizes a comprehensive process intended to increase the overall health of patients and reduce the incidence of strokes, heart attacks, and bacterial pneumonia.

Residents at client care facilities receive comprehensive dental care services that include regularly scheduled annual exams, hygienist appointments, and consultations for extractions and restorations. Dental teams also see patients in need of dentures and partial dentures, and can perform repairs on existing dentures when appropriate. Furthermore, patients whose needs are more complex receive an office referral to one of Visiting Ancillary’s contracting dentists. Dental care at client facilities is made possible through high-quality mobile dental technologies, such as digital x-rays, denture technology, and drill systems.

In addition to resident care, Visiting Ancillary Services offers a free Medicaid clinic for those employees of client care facilities who are eligible for Medicaid.
